An enchanting Evening of Jazz, Chanson and Burlesque…
Jazzstories – Frauen, Welten, Wandel tells of female lives, desires and upheavals: sensual, polyphonic and across time.
A Taste of Opera will be joining the Berlin-based artist collective Sassy & Unscripted. We will take you on a musical journey with music from the 1920s to the present day. It encompasses chansons by Marlene Dietrich and Kurt Weill's leading ladies, as well as jazz standards by Nina Simone, Peggy Lee, and Ella Fitzgerald, tangos by Astor Piazzolla, and even the darkly shimmering soundscapes of Babylon Berlin.
The music is accompanied by burlesque performances from the artists phoenixxfury and Madame von Fatale, who embody different perspectives on women and their lives with presence, humour, and elegance. Jazzy live music meets sensual movement, promising an evening full of seduction, strength, and transformation.
Live artists artistically capture these moments for eternity. Wine provided by A Taste of Opera.
